No. Waxed Amaryllis do not require any water because the bulbs contain all the water and nutrients they need to flower. 

Simply place them on a tabletop or any other flat surface in your home. Waxed Amaryllis should be kept in a well-lit room while avoiding direct sunlight. Rotating the bulb every couple of days will help it grow straighter.
